I have simply made up my mind to be a light in a dark world. Life can most definitely get chaotic and frustrating but when you focus on the lessons these hard moments have to teach us we can unearth an opportunity for growth. That is the essence of my optimism.

 Everything happens for a reason and that reason is so that we can learn and grow. I’m human of course just like anybody, but in spite of the negative emotions I feel from time to time, I believe in my ability to rise above and in doing so I become a stronger person. And I believe that that strength allows me to overcome any adversity I might stumble upon. 

Yes, some days are harder/darker than others but the key is believing the sun will always shine through. Even the moon takes time to recharge herself, then come around with a brighter light. My optimism is more like a pledge to be the change I want to see in the world. It’s a promise I’ve made to myself to strive for a better happier and more peaceful tomorrow, full of joy and new and fulfilling endeavors
